Mr. Chorvy VONG has had an extensive experience in both local and international organizations. Chorvy has been a part-time lecturer at The University of Cambodia (The UC) since 2012 and Lecturer of English at the Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP) since 1998 and promoted to be a Coordinator of the English Language program in 2000. He also worked as a Specialist in Human Development for Japanese Overseas Volunteers and Japanese Overseas Senior Volunteers Training Center in Fukushima, Japan for three years (2005-2008). He has become the Head of Quality Assurance Center (QAC) at the RUPP since 2008 after returning home and he is in charge of conducting course evaluations for the University, Tracer Studies, Monitoring and Evaluation, Planning and coordinating Teaching and Learning Unit. He has involved in developing the University Strategic Plans (2008-2013 and 2014-2018), developing Quality Assurance Operational Policy and Quality Assurance Framework. He obtained his MA Degree in TESOL from the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) Australia in 2003. He participated in ASEAN-QA International Quality Assurance Training Course (2011-2013) and the DIES Project on ASEAN-QA TrainIQA (2014-2016) hosted by DAAD, German Rector’s Conference (HRK), ENQ, AQAN, SEAMEO RIHED, AUN, and Potsdam University, Germany. In addition, he has trained the University stakeholders to write Self-Assessment Report (SAR), to develop Expected Learning Outcomes (ELOs) for curricula and has taught the English language to undergraduates and Curriculum Designs to the MA Programs of Education. In 2016, Chorvy was promoted to be Director of the International Relations Office (IRO) of the RUPP and he is now in charge of both the Quality Assurance Center and the International Relations Office and ACC Assessor.
