Dr. Pok Visalboth is currently positioning as Dean of College of Arts and Humanities, The University of Cambodia.
He earned his Bachelor degree in Khmer Literature from Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP) in 2009, which significantly focused on Khmer Traditional Culture. His Bachelor thesis back then was about 『ការប្រើប្រាស់អង្ករក្នុងជំនឿ និងសាសនានៃសង្គមខ្មែរ - The use of rice in the beliefs and religions of Cambodian society 』
In 2017, He received his Master Degree in Modern Society and Culture from Yonsei University, South Korea. The MA thesis was about 『The reproduced society imagination of dementia in drama <A Thousand Days’ Promise> and <Memory>』
In 2023, He successfully achieved Ph.D. in Modern Society and Culture from Yonsei University, South Korea. His Ph.D. dissertation was written about 『A Comparative Cultural Study on the Jeju 4.3 Peace Memorial Hall and the Cheung Ek Genocidal Memorial Hall: Through the view of Dark Tourism 』.
